A practical planning process

From load list to event day

Every temporary-power package is scoped to the venue and production. Providing the event location, date, schedule, equipment list, and known electrical service helps us prepare an accurate recommendation and bid.

STEP 01

Load discovery

Review audio, lighting, video, staging, catering, vendor, and operational loads.

STEP 02

System design

Match source capacity, phase, distribution, feeder lengths, breakout points, and backup priorities.

STEP 03

Delivery & setup

Coordinate delivery, cable routing, equipment placement, and department connections.

STEP 04

Support & strike

Onsite technical support, monitoring, fuel planning, and removal can be scoped with the event.

Safety and venue coordination come first

Temporary power must be planned for the actual load and site conditions. Building tie-ins, service connections, grounding, and energization should be handled or approved by venue-authorized and appropriately qualified electrical personnel as required. Final equipment selection is subject to availability and project review.

Frequently asked questions

Event power rental questions

Share your event location and production details early so venue access, cable paths, operating hours, and service requirements can be evaluated.

How do you determine the right generator size?

We review the connected equipment loads, startup demand, voltage and phase, operating time, cable distance, expansion margin, and critical systems that may need backup power. The final recommendation follows the full production load list and venue conditions.

Can one system support audio, lighting, and video?

Yes, when the system is designed with appropriate capacity, distribution, separation, and connection points. Each department’s load should be documented so sensitive and high-demand equipment can be planned correctly.

Do you provide feeder cable and distribution equipment?

Yes. The live inventory includes camlock feeder sets, tails, single- and three-phase distribution, spider-box equipment, twist boxes, and related event-electrical components.

Can you support outdoor events?

Outdoor projects require additional planning for generator placement, weather exposure, cable protection, public access, noise, fuel, grounding, and local venue requirements. We scope these factors before confirming the package.

What information should I send for a quote?

Please include the event date, event location, venue contact, operating schedule, load list or production rider, anticipated cable distances, indoor or outdoor conditions, and whether onsite support or backup power is needed.
